THE BURNT CUSTARD STORY

Burnt Custard is a new brand with strong values and a love of the outdoors, this is our story;

On one of our ski seasons bad weather conditions confined us to our chalet.  Frustrated at not being able to practise our jumps we put our competitive streak into doodling to see who was the most artistic. Nick had no aptitude for drawing and was sent off to prepare dinner – something else he had no aptitude for, even managing to burn the dessert!
One of my house mates at the time (now my partner in crime) rather loved my doodles and asked if he could print some of the designs onto T-shirts. We sent them back to family and friends in England for Christmas presents and to our astonishment found we had a small following who demanded more.  We clubbed together, printed more and sold them to enable us to finish the season and keep on partying.

Three years on we now find ourselves still doodling but this time for BURNT CUSTARD – a small  clothing label run by boarders and skiers and created out of the doodling and a ruined pudding!  It’s aimed at those who have a love for extreme sports, puddings and partying - and are looking for something individual.
